Censor Board Shock To RGV

Ram Gopal Varma is synonymous with controversies. The maverick director who usually gives shock to others has got a jolt from the censor board. His upcoming flick Disha Encounter has failed to get permission from the Censor Board.

Going into the details, the four-member committee who had watched the film felt that the few scenes has a clear cut resemblance to the original gruesome crime that took place in December 2019. Failing to come to a conclusion, the committee denied permission to Dish Encounter.

Now, Rgv has taken it forward to the revision committee. It is to be seen what outcome the revision committee comes up with. Whether the revision committee denied censorship permission or not is to be seen.  

Meanwhile, the film has been subjected to controversy right after Rgv made announcement. The family of the young woman has demanded a ban on the film calling it as ‘premature’.
