Star Actress Bags First Bollywood Film

South sensation Rashmika Mandanna has finally bagged her first Bollywood project. The Chalo actress will be romancing Sidharth Malhotra in the film – Mission Majnu - which is the untold story of India's greatest covert operation. Based on real life incidents set in 1970, the film is about India’s most valor mission set in the heart of Pakistan that changed the relationship between the two nations forever. Misson Majnu will go on flors from February 2021.

Sharing the first look, which has Sidharth on the film poster, tweeted, "The deadliest covert operation undertaken by our intelligence agency behind enemy lines! Presenting the first look of #MissionMajnu," tweeted the actor.

Rashmika’s Big Announcement

Announcing big about her Bollywood debut, Rashmika wrote, "Well guys, here’s news for you! I’m super glad and excited to be a part of this! Here’s to a new journey!" She continued, "Inspired by real events, the story of India’s most daring RAW mission inside Pakistan! #MissionMajnu"

Directed by Shantanu Bagchi, it is bankrolled by RSVP and Guilty By Association.
