Reduce remuneration charges: MAA Chief

Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) president Murali Mohan on Friday indicated that MAA will take steps to reduce the remuneration of Tollywood heroes and heroines.

Murali Mohan told reporters that MAA will convene a meeting to take steps for facilitating early release of films.The Telugu film industry was facing a financial crisis in view of the rising cost of films production, he remarked.

In order to put things in place, film artistes should reduce their remunerations so that production units would not incur losses, he pointed out.The meeting will deliberate upon issues confronting the industry and take steps to solve them.
