Double Jolt For Nani!

Natural Star Nani was a most reliable star until last year. Even with mixed to negative talk his film MCA collected a full run share of Rs 50 crores. But, then, Nani scored biggest flop in his career with Krishnarjuna Yudham that was made with huge budget.

Still, audience had faith in Nani who signed two assignments at a time. While one is to star in Nagarjuna co-starrer Devadas and the other is to host second season of most successful Telugu reality show Bigg Boss.

Many predicted Devadas will become a humongous hit at box office, whereas Bigg Boss 2 will get huge response than the first version on small screen. In fact, promos of Devadas as well as Bigg Boss 2 were well received and had hiked expectations.

Unfortunately, Nani tasted double jolt with Bigg Boss 2 and Devadas. While Devadas raked just decent numbers on its first weekend, Bigg Boss 2 got far less TRPs compared to season one hosted by Jr NTR.

Analysts opined that, energy levels of Nani were no match to NTR. What’s more, he was alleged to be partial to certain contestants in the house. Meanwhile, Nani released a statement that says Bigg Boss show introduced him to the real world. But, the fact is he was allegedly in immense pressure with trolls against him in social media.

The big question is will Nani be given chance to host Bigg Boss season 3 to begin in the mid of next year.
