Manu Trailer Review: Not Up To The Mark

Few films carry exceptional reports before release, even though they don’t have ensemble cast. Recently released RX 100 is a best example for this. And an upcoming mystery romance drama film Manu too falls under the same category.

Although two teasers of Manu generated lots of hype, today released theatrical trailer has disappointed. Actually, those who haven’t watched teasers may enjoy the trailer. But, for those who watched the teaser feel the teasers are far better.

Manu story revolves around three characters- a local artist Raja Goutham, his lady love Chandini Chowdary and John Kottoly. There is no point in showing Goutham as a mysterious person doing mysterious things in a house, if they really want to keep every detail under wraps.

Raja Goutham, son of ace comedian Brahmanandam, looked a different person with grown beard and Chandini Chowdary is gorgeous. However, Vishwanath Reddy’s different camera angles and Naresh Kumaran’s fascinating BGM offered a thrilling experience.

Written and Directed by Phanindra Narsetti, Manu is crowd-funded movie. Mystery of Manu unlocks September 7th.
