His Experiences With Chiru, Balayya

Character actor Sameer stole the hearts of all by appearing in Big Boss season 1 and also starring in important roles sharing screen presence with almost all top stars in Tollywood. Speaking to scribes he said he experienced shivers at the thought of sharing screen presence with Natasimha Balakrishna and Mega Star Chiranjeevi.

He said, “I starred with Chiranjeevi in Tagore and Jai chiranjeeva. The thought of starring in his films created fear inside me. When I was doing some scenes, I used to shiver but Chiranjeevi used to speak in a very friendly manner as though he knew me for many years. Once he called me inside his caravan and remarked ‘you speak Telugu but your name is Sameer.” He was surprised when I told him that my father is a Muslim and mother is a Brahmin.”

He further revealed, “I did two films with Balakrishna. Few of my friends cautioned me to be careful with Balakrishna saying that he is very angry. However this is not true. Balakrishna is very jovial and frank person. He is perfect and particular about work and expects others to be like him. He don’t like people confined to themselves in the sets.”
