Sanju Affects ENE Collections

While Telugu audience waited eagerly for Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi since the film came from director Tharun Bhascker whose first movie Pelli Choopulu was a blockbuster, Sanjay Dutt’s biopic Sanju that starred Ranbir Kapoor was the most anticipated film of the season in the entire nation since it has many positives.

Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi received mixed response and box office collections on first day are not up to the mark as per trade pundits. The film that was made with all new cast has collected $27K till 6:45 PM CST Friday in USA, wherein Sanju minted $415K and it is expected to rake big numbers in the first weekend.

In fact, Sanju is having real bad effect on ENE. First of all, Sanju was the first priority for audience of all languages including Telugus, because director Rajkumar Hirani never disappointed previously. Whenever he comes up with a new film, he casts magic spell with his witty writing and clever making.

More importantly, people want to know unknown facts about Sanjay Dutt who was once labeled as a terrorist. Sanju indeed is a perfect biopic on Sanjay Dutt which unveiled many facts about him. Though the film focused less on his professional career, it portrayed mostly real life incidents in Sanjay Dutt’s personal life.

Trade analysts predict, Sanju will become one of the biggest blockbusters and it won’t take much time to enter 100 Cr club. On the other hand, ENE which failed to reach the expectations may not have great run at box office.
