Much anticipated and eagerly awaited film from Superstar Mahesh Babu and director Koratala Siva is Bharat Ane Nenu. Here’s the theatrical trailer out just now.
Trailer starts typically in Koratala style with Mahesh aka CM Bharat Ram saying, ‘Thappu Jarigithe Konchem Kathinamgaa Undi Daanni Correct Cheyadaniki Try Chesthe, Neeku Rajarikam, Rajulu Gurthocharu... Kaanee Naaku Mathram Chinnappudu Thappu Chesthe Dandinchina Maa Amma Nanna Gurthocharu,’ described the protagonist’s character in one line.
In the following episodes, Koratala tried to project the commitment and reformist character of Bharat in fulfilling the promises made to normal public, though his approach is informed to be a bit harsh. Bharat Ane Nenu title song comes as background and is enchanting though the on screen visuals created a feeble impact.
Perhaps, Siva seems to have thought of incorporating too many elements in the trailer but not even a single episode leaves any impression or haunts long.
When Mahesh Babu crosses a mud pool, he is shown in close shot with tears rolling down his eyes that appeared unrealistic and shallow.
“Ettakelaku Okkadochadammaa… Rajakeeya Nayakudanukunaa… Nayakudu…” uttered by Rao Ramesh elevated hero’s character.
On the other side, romance between lead pair appeared weak and so is the regular villainy in politics expressed in one dialogue, ‘Meeru adhikaramlo Unnappudu Mammalani, Memu Adhikaramlo Unnappudu Mimmalani aadukovadam… Agreement…’
Here are the other dialogues uttered by Mahesh Babu:
- Twaralone Mee Andarinee Maata Meeda Nilabade Magallani Chesthanani Daiva Saakshigaa Pramanam Chesthunna…
- House Lo Unna Vallandari Doubts Clear Ayithe, With Your Permission I Will Take A Leave Madam Speaker…
Reformer, statesman, guardian and a man for the common man takes an uncommon path has so much of perplexity in understanding. Wish Koratala simplified it in his narrative as his intention is powerful and noble.
Overall, the lengthy BAN trailer has too much to say and so little to register a punch. Hope that overall social message and responsibility posted in film impresses and reaches our audience once when the film hits screens on April 20.
