One time or the other, there is hue and cry over allocation of theatres for movies releasing around the same time in every week. We have seen several protests before especially from small budgeted producers over monopoly by a group of influential people in theatre mafia making other films to suffer.

Since all the movies have a theatrical run of hardly two weeks, eagerness to avail more release theatres is justified from a producer's perspective. Now it's the same turn of Okkadu Migiladu director Ajay Andrews waging a war against Asian Cinemas distributor Sunil Narang.

As per director Ajay Andrews Nuthakki, he went furious for not getting the minimum number of theatres they wanted for Okkadu Migiladu. Meanwhile, Ajay questions... 'is it a straight Telugu movie less important than a dubbing movie getting more number of theaters.'

Interestingly as many as three dubbing movies, one bilingual and one straight film is hitting theatres this week.  These dubbing movies include Vijay’s Adirindhi, Vishal’s Detective and Siddharth's Gruham.

Gruham was actually supposed to release last week but failed so. Though the movie is hit in Tamil, it is struggling to get theatres for this week. Only time will tell, what's the fate.

Vishal’s Detective has got sufficient number of theatres though the original movie released a while back and is available online Amazon Prime.

Vijay’s Mersal dubbed version Adirindhi is enjoying the most number of theatres with Sunil Narang distributing it in Telugu with Sharat Marar support. Adirindhi was also supposed to release along with Tamil but got delayed due to several reasons. Since it is declared a hit and the movie is in news for all wrong reasons, decent hype and curiosity is created for the Telugu version.

Okkadu Migiladu is also supposed to release earlier but got delayed due to numerous factors. And finally, it is eyeing for a release this Friday. Along with Okkadu Migiladu, another bilingual in the form of C/O Surya from Sundeep Kishan is also hitting screens this week with decent numbers.

Asian Distributor Sunil Narang expressed his anger over Ajay Andrews Nuthakki. 'We will not provide any extra theatres if they retort to violent activities and thretaen us. One has to have patience to get more theatres,' Narang said.

How these makers will come up to a mutual understanding is now a million dollar question.
