Katama Rayudu Jathara!

It was speculated earlier on Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Katama Rayudu’ might bulldoze many Box Office records including the top most day 1 collections written on the name of Chiranjeevi ‘Khaidi no 150’ in Telugu states.

Looks like this is an impossible challenge before Power Star because early trade reports mentioned that ‘Katama Rayudu’ day 1numbers in two Telugu states may come close to a number between Rs. 23 to 24 Crores which means at least falls short of reaching Chiranjeevi by Rs. 1.5 Crores.

Nevertheless, ‘Katama Rayudu’ got on to a sensational opening with Fans turning in huge numbers at theaters amidst a festival atmosphere. What mattered most is entire Telangana region missed premier shows on day 1 which can be a reason in small difference to actual total numbers. 

Meanwhile, producer Sharrat Marar and area wise distributors are said to be delighted with audience reaction irrespective of divided critics’ verdict. With advance bookings in full swing till Monday, a huge jump is forecasted again from Wednesday owing to Ugadi and summer holidays. Box Office wise, coming two weeks can be Katma Rayudu Jathara in B, C centers with Pawan Mania on all time high.
