Coming one week can be a hectic activity for Telugu cinema loving audience and especially Fans of Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna can be at loggerheads because ‘Khaidi No 150’ and ‘Gauthami Puthra Satakarni’ are hitting the screens at a minimal one day gap for Pongal festive season.

Given the rivalry instances between Fan bases of these two heroes and in Box Office battle terms, matter can be very sensitive which may also require police intervention in case of clashes. On a precautionary note, Director General of Police N Sambasiva Rao conducted a review meeting few hours back in Vijayawada to discuss about release of two big films and kind of security measures needs to be taken.

DGP issued stern warnings to Fans and Fans associations not to create any nuisance in front of theaters like resorting to damage of publicity hoardings, banners, cut-outs etc. He also notified the social media netizens not to post any defamatory lines and links hurting others sentiments. He called for Fans to maintain restraint and celebrate the releases peacefully.

Telangana never encouraged hardcore fanaticism like in Andhra Pradesh wherein cinema entertainment is linked to castes and politics.
