Finally, the much awaited ‘Gauthami Puthra Satakarni’ audio album is released yesterday night in the presence of chief guests Chandrababu Naidu and Venkaiah Naidu. Directed by Krish and music composed by Chirantan Bhatt, makers haven’t taken any risk as they roped in Sirivennela Sitarama Shastry for penning the lyrics to match the historical Telugu glory.
Though whole album is worth a shot for music lovers, ‘Mriga Nayana’ from legendary playback singer SP Balasubramaniam can be rated as the best tune, composition and lyrics wise too. Generally, Krish sees that all his films songs are lyrically rich and situationally fits well. GPSK is no different, Chirantan Bhatt scored a good album after ‘Kanche.’
Although couple of tunes viz. ‘Ekimeeda’ and ‘Gana Gana’ are inspired by other popular hit songs yet they live an impact while ‘Saaho Saarvabhouma’ and ‘Singham Pai Langinchenu’ elucidate the royalty of Satakarni and his golden period in ancient Telugu history.
