PM Narendra Modi's supporters fell in a state of defence ever since the demonetization of high currency notes decision was taken up by the PM. With no sufficient currency in hands, common people and all other sections are suffering to the core.
At this framework, some of the BJP's activists reportedly indulged circulation gossips in favour of the PM. One such gossip which prevailed on social media was that the BJP would announce sops which include income tax benefits, petrol, diesel and commodities price reduction etc. It was also speculated petrol prices would come down to Rs.35.
However, analysts say nothing of that, as speculated by Modi's supporters on social media, would be happening. Reports are it that no change would be made in income tax slabs except a little hike in tax rebate which might extend from Rs.2000 to Rs.5000. On the other hand, Modi never let petrol prices decreased irrespective of crude oil prices came down to all time low at international market. And now, crude oil price again set to be increased. As such it can be assumed Modi would not think of reducing petrol prices so are the prices of other commodities. Modi's detractors say Modi always think about to raise the woes of common people but not their welfare.
