Rajinikanth’s yesterday released ‘Kabali’ in Ranjith Pa directions has broken many top records in Telugu states, Tamil Nadu and International markets. Matching up to the hype and hoopla created around the film, Rajini’s mania has truly done wonders. According to a trade update, ‘Kabali’ grossed Rs.108 Crores worldwide on day 1 which is an all time record for any movie.

Getting into breakup, ‘Kabali’ raked a share of Rs.9.70 Crores in Telugu states beating Vikram and Shankar’s ‘I’ by a wide margin becoming top grosser and share holder for non-Telugu dubbing films. In Kerala too, ‘Kabali’ made a gross of Rs. 4.27 Crores becoming the first film in Kerala state history to cross 4 Crores mark. Coming to Tamil Nadu, Super Star hasn’t spared any records because ‘Kabali’ took a flying start collecting Rs.22 Crores yesterday. 

All in all, ‘Kabali’ is unofficially reported to have made a share of Rs.67 Crores approximately on day one. In Malaysia, USA, Canada, UK and other International markets, the film shattered all the existing records for an Indian film. No words… just no words… this is the true power of Rajinikanth, unmatchable. Way to go… Thalaiva.
