RGV Fell Flat For Her Eyes!

Ram Gopal Varma is always on to spot the new acting talents and he is far more specialized with this skill in the case of heroines. Just before beginning the shoot for his upcoming film ‘Vangaveeti,’ a story based on caste based egoistic clashes which rocked Vijayawada city few decades back, the director found a female artist to fit into the character of Vangaveeti Ratna Kumari.

‘Actually Ratna Kumari came into scene only after Ranga’s murder. I was searching for an able actress to carry the role which has high emotions. There was a life for Ratna Kumari even before this murder and I want an actress to emote those expressions with eyes. Finally, I found that capacity in Naina Ganguly. She has those sharp, expressive eyes like Smita Patel and can rip off any serious emotion easily,’ RGV commented.

RGV follows his own style of comparison to justify his selection. Fresher Naina Ganguly definitely looks promising for the powerful character of Ratna Kumari and ‘Vangaveeti’ shooting is likely to start from 20th of this month in Mumbai wherein the art direction team is planning to erect a big Vijayawada setting.
