Aithe 2.0 is Not a Sequel

‘Aithe’ from Gunnam Gangaraju and Chandrasekhar Yeleti is a super hit trend setting film released in 2003. Later on, many upcoming directors were inspired to deliver films in this genre, while some were hit many were flop. It is worth to remember here on many Awards won by this movie to bring lot of name and fame for Yeleti and Gunnam. Twelve years fast forward into the present, we are hearing the news on ‘Aithe 2’ to roll on very soon.

Difference is, ‘Aithe 2.0’ is not going to be a product from Gunnam or Yeleti and Raj Madiraju of ‘Rishi’ and ‘Andhra Pori’ fame is directing. Concept of this project is a techno thriller dealing with social networking, extensive usage of electronic gadgets and adverse effects thereof. 

‘When I approached Ganga Raju Garu with the proposal, he immediately accepted to give us ‘Aithe’ title and we fixed ‘Aithe 2.0’ as our movie title. Shooting would be commenced from October,’ Raj Madiraju informed. Anyways, ‘Aithe 2.0’ is not a true sequel to ‘Aithe.’
