Like what we say Kona Venkat template or Srinu Vytla template wherein story and script for each of their films look same like a template with only hero and backdrop changed. Into the short past, director Teja created a niche tenplate of own in dealing romantic films with rural or urban backdrop. All the way from ‘Nuvvu Nenu’ to ‘Avunannaa Kaadanna,’ there will be plenty of striking similarities in all his love story based movies.

Best among them to mention would be ‘Jayam.’ Yes, the tumult of Teja to begin the story narration from childhood of heroine and villain was new in those days. Although Nithin is titled as hero of ‘Jayam’ but for sure the cruel villainy in Gopichand lifted the overall spirit. After many years, Teja seems to be testing the same formula in ‘Hora Hori’ when he called this film not as a love story but a villain story.

‘If you ask me, I would call ‘Hora Hori’ not a love story. This is at best a villain story. Narration starts off only from villain point of view. Later comes in heroine with confusing characterization between love and infatuation falling into trauma. There comes in hero. From here on, ‘Hora Hori’ will become a triangular love story,’ Teja briefed the story.

If antagonist in ‘Hora Hori’ is to leave a strong imprint, then this one can be at best called as ‘Gopichand’ story or ‘Jayam’ rehash.
