Dealing emotions with in a family is important even for films with action backdrop. For example, the way Koratala Siva scripted and directed the episodes of Sathya Raj and Nadhiya leading to bloodshed action performed by Prabhas in ‘Mirchi’ is a strong exception against the weaknesses of present day directors faltering in either of the ends. 

This is the quality Mahesh Babu seems to have liked in Koratala and accepted ‘Srimanthudu.’ It’s again the reiteration of same sentimental and emotional logic where in Mahesh Babu’s parents done by Jagapathi Babu and Sukanya are going to be the emotionally binding elements in story. Koratala became an expert in exploiting these situations in his advantage with a magical touch.

Suiting the mood in title of film, Sukanya and Jagapathi Babu are seen in rich costumes as they are parents of a rich kid Mahesh Babu. If ‘Mirchi’ was a comeback film for Nadhiya who then became so popular with ‘Aththarintiki Daaredi,’ now ‘Srimanthudu’ can be the best choice for Sukanya to get busy in South cinema industry. 'Srimanthudu' is all set for a grand release on August 7.
