Villainy in commercial films has been interpreted in several ways. Every star director had their own vision and own touch in elevating the villains. Off late, industry is witnessing a scarcity in talented actors who can be called as Apt Villains. Although we hear of few names now and then yet industry is depending on Mumbai and Bollywodo faces to fill the gap.
Only very few of our directors like SS Rajamouli is using the native faces to elevate the villainy there by directly enhancing the power in heroism. For example, Supreet in ‘Chaptrapathi’ or Ajay in ‘Vikramarkudu’ left a strong impact on us. Later on, Supreet became a busy artist doing character or supporting roles while Ajay even tried his hand as hero.
Now, the latest find from Rajamouli for ‘Bahubali’ is Prabhakar doing a terrific role of Kalakeya. In fact, Rajamouli allotted the task of penning a new language to write the dialogues for this character goes on to show lot of hard work behind the design. After the successful careers blessed on Ajay, Supreet by Rajamouli, it could be the turn of Prabhakar to establish his mark.
