Priyamani Strong in Sandalwood

For all those who are considering Priyamani as a closed chapter in South cinema, it’s not the last breath. The wonderful actress who won National Award in the very first days of career is now happy signing some big names and big projects in Kannada cinema. Yes, the dusky beauty has recently agreed to do a meaty heroine role in Kannada film titled as ‘Dana Kaayonu.’

Yograj Bhat of ‘Vastu Prakara’ fame is the director and ‘Duniya’ fame Vijay is the hero. Although the movie is officially launched in the big presence of guests like Shivaraj Kumar, Ravichandran etc, regular shooting is heard to begin from 25th of this month. 

‘I always had the wish to act under Yograj sir’s baton. I think it has all fallen into place for now. Yograj sir and producer Srikanth met me on the sets of Dancing Stars 2 to discuss about the project. We closed the deal then and there. I am very glad that I have a strong role in the film and Yograj sir envisioned me while penning this character,’ Priyamani expressed happiness.
