'Muni' Series Gets A Challenge!

'Muni' is one of the super hit series of horror comedy movies presented to us by Raghava Lawrence. The Telugu, Tamil versions of 'Muni, Kanchana' and 'Ganga' were declared as commercial blockbusters with fourth instalment ready to go on production. Meanwhile, the horror comedy genre established by these films is also followed by many other directors in Telugu like Maruti for 'Prema Katha Chithram' and recently released Raj Kiran's 'Geethanjali.'

Now that Raj Kiran is making the arrangements for release of 'Tripura' (can be called a sequel to 'Geethanjali') with Colors Swathi as heroine in central role and Kona Venkat as usual becoming the production partner, the recently released first look of the flick is generating curiosity. In fact, Raj Kiran was floored with many opportunities after the hit verdict of 'Geethanjali' but he struck with 'Tripura.'

If at all, 'Tripura' enjoys a positive verdict at BO by releasing with in this summer season, it can become a possible threat for successful 'Muni' series. Difference is, 'Muni' being a dubbed version and 'Geethanjali' is a direct Telugu film. As we all know, Anjali does the heroine in first part and she voluntarily dropped the proposal forwarded by Raj Kiran for sequel. Let us see, how good we can challenge the Arava horror comedy of 'Muni' with 'Geethanjali.'
