Nothing seems to stop “Arya 2” from roaring including the divided talk in first week. As per the filmnagar sources, collection reports from all over the State and even overseas declare that “Arya 2” may stand among one of the big hits of the year 2009.

Director Sukumar expressed the same opinion saying that, “I made a clear request to Producer Aditya Babu that ‘Arya 2’ may go perfectly right with ‘A’ class centres and just have a decent run in ‘B’ & ‘C’ class centres. But, I was surprised about my ignorance and miscalculation that happened with ‘B’ and ‘C’ class centres because audience in these centres liked the movie more than ‘A’. Once again proving all the divided talks to be non sense “Arya 2” may go onto become the highest grosser among Allu Arjun movies.”

To prove Sukumar’s statements right, first week collection reports of “Arya 2” are suspected to be at Rs.14 to 15 crores, highest among all the movies of Allu Arjun. Distributors are also saying that, movie is having sustained response even after the release of “Amaravathi” and “Sarai Veerraju.” Looks Allu Arjun is in drivers seat even in this week of collection reports.
