Ram Uninterested in 'Masala'

‘Masala’ is one of the prestigious multi star Tollywood releases striking the theatres on 14th of this month. With Venkatesh and Ram as a combination with Anjali and Shazahn Padamsee, we all know ‘Masala’ as the official remake of Bollywood’s 100 Crores flick ‘Bol Bachchan.’ Actually, this is the reason why young and energetic Ram was reluctant to do the film when producer D Suresh Babu approached with the offer. 

‘I took three days of time before saying yes. This is my first remake and I did a second character to Venkatesh. After seeing ‘Bol Bachchan,’ I requested my producers to give me some time. But, I understood later on how good this film can do to my career. Venkatesh Uncle is one of the four pillars of Tollywood and is a living legend. Logically, there will be good/positive and bad/negative on every small work we do. When we look at it from positive perspective, the negative side looks very minute. Thus, I agreed for ‘Masala’ and suggested Vijay Bhaskar as the director,’ Ram shared.
