Stars under one roof

It was a star-studded musical night. Arranged by the Tollywood Film fraternity, Spandana, the musical extravaganza was meant to raise resources for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in aid of the flood-affected victims in Andhra Pradesh.Top stars from South India including Rajinikanth, Suriya Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna,Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, NTR Jr.,Ravi Teja, Ram, Nitin, Ileana, Hansika, Bhumika, Tarun, Saikumar, Prakashraj, Murali Mohan, Rama Naidu, Raghavendra Rao, Jamuna, Geetanjali, Khaveri Jha,Mohan Babu and Roja made their presence felt at the starry night.Ravishing Shriya,Allu Arjun, Mamta Mohandas, Siddarth, Genelia and others gave live performances,while music directors Koti,M.M Keeravani, Chakri,Mani Sharma,Raj Kumar,Vandemataram Srinivas, Taman, Mickey J.Mayer, Devi Sri Prasad and S.P Balasubramanyam meswmerised the audiences with their songs.

Chief Minister Rosaiah,who arrived to a rousing reception, at the Gachibowli Stadium lauded the film industry for its gesture towards the flood affected victims. He recalled the services of late Chief Minister N.T.Rama Rao,who collected funds for the victims of the 1952 drought, besides the Diviseema calamity in the late 70s.Dasari Narayana Rao presented a cheque for Rs. 5,28,47,101 to the Chief Minister.
