Padma Awards to T-Wood Big Wigs

The Government of India has decided to honour three tollywood legends with Padma Awards. Reports are out that D.Rama Naidu will be conferred with Padma Bhushan award, and director Bapu and veteran heroine Sridevi will get Padma Sri awards. Their achievements in a nutshell are as follows.

D.RAMA NAIDU: He made his debut as a producer through the movie 'Anuragam'. However, the movie was a disaster then. Later, he started Suresh Productions and produced the movie 'Ramudu-Bheemudu' with late NTR as a dual role. The movie was a blockbuster then. The movie was released in 1964. There after, he produced more than 130 movies and occupied a space in Guinness Book of World Records. Earlier, he was also conferred with Dada Saheb Phalke award. 

BAPU: More than a director, he is mostly eminent as a great artist and a painter. His painting  works are said be the properties of Telugu people. His debut venture as a director 'Saakshi' brought him lot of fame. There after, he directed ever remembered movies such as 'Muthyala Muggu', 'Andala Ramudu', 'Sampoorna Ramayanam',  'Seetha Kalyanam', 'Mr.Pellam' ,' Pelli Pusthakam', 'Sri Ramarajyam' etc. In fact, he should have have  been conferred with Padma award long back.

SRIDEVI: This Telugu girl has become a Pride of AP as she held the position as a number one heroine of entire India for some years. She is mostly known for her enchanting looks with superb glamour. She has been a dream girl for crores of males those days. Coming to her career, she played many roles as a child artist. She got into limelight as a heroine through 'Padaharella Vayasu'.
