Harish Missed Her For 'Kevu Keka'

‘Kevu Keka’ is the super hit item number from ‘Gabbar Singh’ going still strong on musical charts. Usually, it is the discretion of Music Director to select singers in consultation with Director and Producer. So, it depends upon quality of voice and situational demand by which music directors offer the chances to singers. Director Harish Shankar has revealed some exciting news about ‘Kevu Keka’ song.

He said, ‘I thought of picking up Geetha Madhuri to render the voice for ‘Kevu Keka’ song while DSP finalized Mamta Sharma. So, I went with this selection because he wanted something different for this particular song.’ In fact, Harish shared this information with Geetha Madhuri in a promotional program of ‘Gabbar Singh.’ However, the humble lady Geetha accepted this saying, ‘No problem at all. Devi sir is a nice human being. He generally calls our group when ever there is a chance for us to prove.’
