Harish plays Raghavendra Rao Card

The Antykashari scene of ‘Gabbar Singh’ where in a group of junior artists imitating other celebrity heroes was well connected to audience in second half of the film. However, the song of ‘Rose Rose…’ of ‘Allari Priyudu’ used as a part of this Antyakshari was treated as an insult due to imitation of Rajasekhar and the following dialogue of ‘Roja Naa…Veedi Koojaa Naa…’

Harish Shankar reacted on this controversy saying. ‘There is no need for me to go for sarcastic comedy even though dealing a commercial mass entertainer. In fact, I respect this song of ‘Rose Rose Roja Puvvaa.’ This was one of best songs ever picturized by great Raghavendra Rao. Hero who acted in this song performed peculiar dance movements which shot to huge popularity in those days. My hero Pawan Kalyan never encourages of criticizing or insulting others. Of course, there is no need for us to spend crores of rupees to insult a Hero. Better critics know the difference between imitation and insult.’ Diverting the issue from view point of insulting Rajasekhar to paying of tributes for Raghavendra Rao can’t be that easily accepted by public.
