Hat Trick Hero Fails to Ignite BO

Though belonged to Tamil origin, hero Karthi like his brother Suriya is gifted with strong Fan following here in Telugu too. Scoring a good hat trick in Telugu with ‘Yuganiki Okkadu, Awara and Naa Peru Siva,’ his one more flick ‘Malli Gadu’ is released last week which is of course his debut project in Tamil titled as ‘Paruththiveeran.’ It’s the same film which helped Priyamani to win National Award in Best Actress category. 

Unfortunately critic reports on the film are positive but collections wise, there seems to be little disappointing figures reported primarily from middle and lower class centers. While the above mentioned three flicks are a good mix of intense emotion along with commercial elements, ‘Malli Gadu’ lacked in commercial focus. Performances by Karthi, Priyamani and the country side nativity selected are heart rendering yet this film is declared of failing to ignite the BO. Nevertheless director Ameer’s wonderful efforts, superb cinematography are big plus for the film.
