Real story behind 'leaks'

The media is full of leaked stories these days. The first this year was the leaked story of Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu film Sitamma Vaakitlo sirimalle Chettu. Everyone was surprised with the leak. This was followed shortly by the leak of the title song of Ram Charan’s new film Racha.

Now even the title song lyrics of Pawan Kalyan’s new film Gabbar Singh have been leaked! Looking at this, one may get a doubt if there is something behind the leaks. It is not always the case that someone steals the stills or a song and leaks it. It is also known that the producers and directors sometime do it themselves. These are called ‘selective leaks’. The story or song or a still is ‘leaked’. This is more to gauge the reaction of the people and also build up craze for the film and generate a lot of free publicity. So the truth is - every ‘leak’ is not a ‘leak’.
