Puri spends time in Cherlapally jail

Director Puri Jagannath is the most happening person in the industry today. He scored a hit with Mahesh Babu film Businessman and has lined up three films with Pawn Kalyan, Ravi Teja and the Hindi Businessman. He also has some big plans up his sleeve.

On January 26 on the occasion of Republic Day, Puri Jagannath went to the Cherlapally jail in Hyderabad with his son and daughter. Puri interacted with the inmates and talked them about films. He answered several queries posed by the prisoners. Puri told the prisoners that they should treat their time in prison as ‘vanavasam’ and begin life afresh once there are released. Puri also had some bit of advice to them. He told them never to come back for ‘vanavasam’ once they go out but forget their past and lead a new and meaningful life.
