Kamal Hasan inspired by Anna Hazare?

Christopher Nolan directed The Dark Knight or Brian De Palma’s The Untouchables must have been the Hollywood versions of showing corruption in the Police Department and undercover operations.

Down South, Shankar is one director who handled corruption and wrapped it in melodrama to suit the audience.  Bharateeyudu and Tagore which deal with corruption, Tamil and Telugu versions, have been a major hits.

With Anna Hazare and his team sending strong messages and drawing more crowds than any of the top rated star’s high budget films, Kamal Hasan seems to be taking up the issue seriously.

After Viswaroopam, which is directing after sacking the original nominee for lack of discipline, Kamal plans to make a film on Corruption. Amar Hai deals with corruption in the changed world which has erased distances and hi-tech gadgets making things easier for culprits and cops as well.
