Sharing his views on how strong the competition went on between Chiranjeevi and himself during their peak times in career, Balakrishna gave a matured response that would be a lesson to learn for Fans and also for upcoming young generation heroes who can easily fall into an ego trap. 

‘Yes, there was good and sportive competition in between us. Some times, there were hostile situations prevailed among Fans groups. In fact we both fought for giving better films. If he gives one hit, I always tried to do a better movie than that. We used to compliment each other whenever we meet outside. In simple, we were good friends in the past and remain so even today. So, I can call it as a healthy atmosphere that helped us to give more number of hits.’ Definitely, there is a message to take.
