'Rangam' Lady to show her 'Dammu'

After Shruthi Hasan walked out ‘Dammu’ on the issue of dates, producers and director are believed to have roped in Karthika (daughter of Radha) to play the second lead in the film. There is no confirmed news on who will replace Shruthi as the female lead role.

Karthika was noticed in the film circles with her performance in ‘Rangam’ and the buzz is that she has a meaty role in ‘Dammu’ though she plays the second lead. Shooting of ‘Dammu’ will start in the last week of October and scenes connected with NTR will be canned first before first heroine will be finalized (mostly it can be Kajal). Director Boyapati Srinu and Producer Alexander Vallabha are working hard to make the film go on sets at the earliest possible after initial hiccups caused by ‘Oosaravelli.’
