Shruthi to sing for 'Munni Badnaam'

Till yesterday, the hunt was on for finding an equivalent to Malaika Arora Khan for dancing in the item number of ‘Munni Badnaam’ in Tamil version of ‘Dabangg’ that happens to be ‘Vosthi’ of Simbu and Richa Gangopadhyay. As director Dharani came out with Mallika Sherawat, now the singer for same has come to discussion.

Music director Thaman has used two tunes from ‘Mirapakai’ as it is for ‘Vosthi.’ Telugu ‘Gabbar Singh’ heroine Shruthi Hasan is keen on singing ‘Munni’ for both the versions of films and they think she would be a perfect fit for this as song requires a slightly different kind of voice culture and it went on be a super hit in Hindi. Let us see, how far Shruthi who has good voice succeeds in as ‘Munni.’
