Creativity is the buzz word that controls the fate of any film industry. Off late our Tollywood appears to be on a back step compared to Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi fields. While modern cinema with metropolitan thoughts have taken over other film industries, our Telugu film makers are still sticking to old formula based movies killing the very essence of imaginative ideas.

At this moment, strength of Tollywood is once again in hands of Balakrishna and his film ‘Sri Rama Rajyam.’ During the times of legendary NTR, mythology films have been patented by Telugu film world while others survived on different social subjects. In simple, Mythology has been the USP of our Telugu films, thanks to NTR’s immeasurable strength in them.

In current times, when our directors, producers are bankrupt in ideas, Balakrishna taking the burden of giving new energies to Pouranikam is a welcome trend. As ‘Dookudu,’ ‘Oosaravelli’ and other star hero flicks in making stages are based on regular commercial formulae, ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ can be treated as the prestige and fate deciding flick of our Tollywood to prove that we are unique in making Pouranikams.
