Neha Sharma Demands Removal of Fake AI Content
Actress Neha Sharma has issued a strong warning against the unauthorised use of her photographs and videos to create AI generated content. The Bollywood star expressed concern that manipulated images and videos could misrepresent her identity and harm her public reputation, demanding that those responsible stop immediately.
In a statement shared on her X account, Neha called on people to remove existing AI generated images and videos featuring her likeness. She also urged social media users to stop creating, editing or sharing new content using her face without permission.
The actress made it clear that she does not consent to the unauthorised use of her identity. She described her statement as an official warning and said she would pursue legal action against individuals who create, publish or circulate such material.
Neha’s warning comes amid growing concerns over deepfakes and digitally altered content targeting public figures. Fake accounts and AI tools can make manipulated media difficult to trace, raising serious questions about consent, privacy and reputational harm.
