Accusation on Lokesh Kanagaraj

Accusation on Lokesh Kanagaraj. There are directors who score hits with routine films. Though people love it they do not show interest in watching them repeatedly. However, directors who have passion try to show their mark and at the same time give a different experience to viewers. Lokesh Kanagaraj belongs to them and after making his debut with Nagaram, he scored a resounnding it. Later he created a sensation with Karthi's Khaidhi. It is not easy to make people sit in theatres without testing their patience.
Then he scored a blockbuster with Kamal Haasan's Vikram. In his films one can see retro songs. This gives a fresh feel to viewers on the screen. However, one gets a feeling that Lokesh Kanagaraj is weak when it comes to dealing with flashbacks. Leo and Coolie failed to live up to the expectations. In all the films heroes have flashbacks and while in some films they are revealed in others secrecy is maintained.
In Khaidi the flashback was not revealed. In Vikram, backstory was narrated through Fahadh Faasil character in an animation manner. He did not try to show it in a visual manner. So these two films turned out to be hits. In Leo and Coolie, the flashbacks were narrated in visual manner. He failed to handle in a perfect manner. So speculation is on that Lokesh Kanagaraj is weak in handling the flashback episodes. Now he is keen to overcome this flashback phobia. In Allu Arjun's film he is keen to show the flasback episode in a manner elevating his character to the next level.
