Hatah Nizam and Uttarandhra Rights Acquired By Dil Raju

Kiran Abbavaram’s upcoming Telugu thriller Hatah has reportedly completed its worldwide theatrical pre release business at approximately ₹3 crore ahead of its Diwali release. Distributor Dil Raju has acquired the Nizam and Uttarandhra territories for ₹1.26 crore, making his deal a significant portion of the film’s reported theatrical value.
For a modestly budgeted mystery thriller, the reported business figure puts the spotlight on the film’s commercial prospects. Dil Raju’s distribution network could help Hatah reach audiences across its acquired territories. However, the final outcome will depend on audience feedback, competition and the film’s performance throughout its theatrical run.
Hatah is presented by Kiran Abbavaram and produced by Kiran Abbavaram and Shivashankar Naidu Y under KA Productions and Pournami Entertainments. Directed by Anush Gorak, who also handles the script and cinematography, the psychological mystery thriller features Tanuja Puttaswamy, Kushlu Maddala, Rehman and Namritha MV. Jecin George is composing the music.
The film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 6, targeting the Diwali holiday audience. Its reported worldwide theatrical rights value of ₹3 crore suggests a distributor recovery target around that figure, subject to individual territory agreements.
