Nani ditches Telugu director for Tamil Filmmaker
Natural Star Nani seems to have went into a defensive mode after the result of The Paradise. He is on a mission to change his track after doing extremely violent mass action entertainers realising that it is taking him on a wrong track.
Since he already committed Bloody Romeo with Sujeeth longtime back, the makers decided to tone down the violence so that they will get U/A ceertificate. The film will be going to sets next month. Now reports are coming that Nani is showing interest in teaming with Kollywood filmmaker Prem Kumar. He was supposed to do a project with Venky Atluri who scored a hit with Suriya's Viswanth and Sons. But now, inside talk is the project has been shelved.
Prem Kumar is a sensible director and he earlier came up with a classic 96 with Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha. However, when the same was remade in Telugu with Samantha and Sharwanand, it turned out to be a disaster giving shock to Dil Raju, Howwever his film wwith Karthi, Satyam Sundaram won the accolades but didnot turnout to be commercially successful venture.
It has to be seen how Nani will be shown by Tamil director Prem Kumar. Inside talk is the story came up very well and Nani okayed it in a single sitting. The film will be bankrolled by Asian Banner.
