Jailer 2 USA Pre Sales Show Strong Demand
Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 is witnessing encouraging USA premiere bookings, with presales reportedly nearing the $300,000 mark despite comparatively muted promotional buzz. The early trend indicates strong demand for the Superstar’s return as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, with the trailer and upcoming promotions expected to further accelerate bookings.
Jailer 2 is scheduled to release worldwide on October 15, 2026, during the festive Dussehra period. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures, the sequel reunites Rajinikanth with Anirudh Ravichander, whose music was a major part of the first film’s success.
The sequel expands the Jailer universe with Vidya Balan, S.J. Suryah, Mithun Chakraborty and Suraj Venjaramoodu joining the ensemble. Mohanlal, Hrithik Roshan, Vijay Sethupathi and Shiva Rajkumar are also associated with the film, with several appearances expected to add further pan Indian appeal.
Jailer 2 carries the advantage of the original film’s blockbuster reputation and Muthuvel Pandian’s popularity.
