Nani Sets New Telangana Benchmark In Pre Sales With The Paradise
Nani’s The Paradise is generating major pre release momentum ahead of its September 24 worldwide release. The film has reportedly crossed ₹10 crore in Telangana opening day pre sales, while wider tracking estimates place India advances around ₹18 crore and worldwide bookings above ₹25 crore, with further growth expected before the September 23 premieres.
The latest area wise theatrical business report lists Nizam at ₹35 crore, Ceeded ₹10 crore, Uttarandhra ₹8.5 crore, Guntur ₹5.4 crore, East Godavari ₹5.6 crore, West Godavari ₹4 crore, Krishna ₹4.5 crore and Nellore ₹2.7 crore. Together, the Telugu states account for ₹75.7 crore, while Karnataka is valued at ₹6.5 crore.
Outside the Telugu states, reported theatrical business stands at ₹6.5 crore in Karnataka and ₹3.5 crore across the rest of India, with overseas rights estimated at ₹18 crore. In North America, premiere pre sales had reached about $950K already and will cross $1 Million mark in no time, indicating strong overseas demand ahead of release.
Recent booking trends show the film’s momentum accelerating. The latest trade reports indicate that Nani’s current worldwide opening day record belongs to HIT: The Third Case, which grossed around ₹38 crore on Day 1, narrowly ahead of Dasara’s approximately ₹36+ crore. The Paradise is currently projected by trade trackers to open near ₹50 crore worldwide, which would put it roughly ₹12 crore above Nani’s existing record if the projection materialises.
