Suhas Revealed Near Death Experiences During Mandaadi Shoot

Young actor Suhas has revealed that Mandaadi pushed the team through one of the toughest shooting experiences of his career. He said the climax was filmed at sea for nearly 45 days, with the crew heading into the water every morning and returning by evening. The process involved serious risks.
Mandaadi is built around coastal life and traditional boat racing, giving the film a distinct setting. Suhas and Soori lead the cast, while Mahima Nambiar plays the female lead. Sathyaraj, Ravindra Vijay, Mithun and Bala Saravanan have important roles. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the film.
Suhas recalled that boats overturned several times during filming, with four or five incidents reportedly leaving the team fearing for their lives. The production faced demanding weather and sea conditions, while earlier reports also mentioned an accident involving equipment during the coastal shoot. Such challenges underline the scale of Mandaadi's climax.
Directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendi and produced by Elred Kumar under RS Infotainment, Mandaadi is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on September 10, 2026, in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. The teaser has increased curiosity with its boat race action, emotional moments and striking visuals, while Mythri handles Telugu distribution.
