Yash starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has received government approval for increased ticket prices in Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana ahead of its theatrical release on August 26, 2026. The revised rates will remain effective until September 4, covering the crucial first 10 days of the film’s run across the state.

Under the approved Telangana ticket pricing, single-screen theatres can charge an additional ₹50, while multiplexes and special theatres are permitted to collect ₹100 more per ticket. Whereas in Andhra Pradesh 6 AM premiere show tickets costs ₹600, and regular shows with multiplexes allowed an additional ₹100 and single screens ₹50. revised amounts include GST.

The permission applies to five regular shows daily during the 10-day period, potentially boosting the film’s opening day revenue. But in Telangana, as part of the approval, Toxic producers KVN – Monster Mind Creations LLP have been directed to contribute ₹1 crore to the Telugu Film Industry Employees’ Welfare Committee through the Telangana Film Development Corporation. The government has also instructed theatres to screen advertisements creating awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, narcotics and cybercrime.

The ticket-price decision has heightened anticipation among Yash fans, particularly as Hyderabad bookings were yet to open amid considerable online discussion. With bookings expected to gather momentum, Toxic is heading into release with strong fan expectations.
