Consequences if release of Collection Posters is stopped

What will happen if Collection Posters are not released? All the right thinking people are wondering whether people talk about films rather than box office collections. Gone are the days when people used to talk about the films, performances, directors, songs, stunts etc. But now with in moments, social media is flooded with collection posters and the intense discussions and fan wars revolving around them. Now people are of the opinion that one should have some control over the release of collection posters.
Collections alone do not decide the extent of success a film. It depends on the film's budget, return on investment, profits for the producers. All these measurements and calculations belong to distributors, business circle and producers. But fans are now paying attention to them on social media.
The moment Rs 100 or Rs 200crs collection posters appear they target the other heroes and question them and compare and troll them and this is resulting in fan wars. Instead of healthy discussion over film, it is resulting in fan wars on social media. Instead of enjoying the film's success they are talking about the collections coming up with irrelevant posts.
So time has come for the producers to think about it and curb the fan wars. If they stop releasing collection posters for small milestone, the fan wars can be reduces. There is necessity to measure film success not by collections but by the people's response. Cinema is for entertainment and it is not correct for fan wars over film collections. Only if one respects and appreciate other victory, then healthy competition will come.
Box office numbers are integral part of film business but the way it is promoted should be changed. It has to be seen who will take a step in this direction.
