Naga Chaitanya Praises Rao Bahadur As Game Changer

Yuva Samrat Akkineni Naga Chaitanya watched Venkatesh Maha’s Rao Bahadur and called it a rare original. Released July 3, the Satyadev starrer is produced by A+S Movies and Srichakra Entertainments with GMB Entertainment presenting. Chaitanya said the film felt like a masterclass in storytelling and acting.
He praised Satyadev’s career-best performance and Venkatesh Maha’s world-building. Chaitanya noted every detail captivated him and admitted actors would be “jealous” of the role. He added Telugu cinema needed this kind of brave, formula-free film, comparing its impact to landmark Malayalam and Kannada content-driven hits.
Rao Bahadur stars Satyadev in the titular role, with strong supporting performances that critics highlight. Backed by producers Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy, Anurag Reddy and Sarath Chandra, the period drama focuses on real events and authentic 20th-century Andhra culture without commercial compromises.
Chaitanya urged audiences to watch in theaters instead of judging by reviews. He said films like this come rarely and set new benchmarks. Calling Rao Bahadur a reference point for Telugu cinema, he congratulated the entire crew for delivering bold, honest and inspiring cinema.
