Dulquer Salmaan Summoned Again In Luxury Car Smuggling Probe

Actor Dulquer Salmaan will be questioned again by Customs officials in the alleged luxury car smuggling case, reported Times Now. The move follows his seven-hour statement recorded days ago. Customs launched Operation Numkhor last year to crack down on illegal luxury car imports into Kerala.

During raids, officials seized four vehicles linked to Salmaan from his Kerala properties. The cars include a Land Rover Defender, Toyota Land Cruiser, Nissan Patrol and another luxury SUV. Authorities believe more suspected smuggled vehicles may be registered in his name and are verifying ownership details before the next summons.

Salmaan says all purchases were legal and he has documents to prove it. He has assured full cooperation. Customs has not named him an accused yet and the probe continues. Fans on X and Instagram defended him, calling for due process and transparency.

Bhutan’s Customs team joined Kerala officials in April to trace the Indo-Bhutan route used to smuggle cars. Reports claim 37 luxury vehicles entered this way. Bongaigaon police arrested seven people forging RTO documents to register 464 vehicles. Investigation is ongoing across multiple states.
