Salman Khan Maatrubhumi gets censor shock

Salman Khan's Matrubhumi directed by Apoorva Lakhia for long has been waiting in the wings for the release. The film launched as Battle of Galwan features Colonel B. Santosh Babu, who led the 16 Bihar Regiment during the Galwan Valley clash of June 15–16, 2020.

However, on the advice of the Government,the makers diluted the references to China and also changed the title. Now according to the later, Censor Board shocked the makers by pausing the film's censor certification. Insiders shared "Clearance (from Censor Board) is pending as process underway. It is not on hold,"

The makers planned to release the film during August but this may not happen now following the latest developments. Himesh Reshammiya is the music director for the film . Actress Chitrangda Singh has been signed as the female lead, marking her first on-screen pairing with Salman.
