He tried to make up for it with hilarious scene in the police station during the preclimax. The entire first half is dragged with the love scenes featuring the lead pairs. The interval twist sets the tone for the second half. The pace picks up in the second half but the so called twists can be easily predicted.The music for the film is tuned by Ilayaraja. The songs looked like serial songs and offered nothing new. and the background music turned out to be a huge disappointment. One cannot believe that Ilayaraja scored the music for the film. The director failed to connect the emotional chords and failed to establish how a small incidents lead to divorce. Few emotions are ok but the super heroes fights looked silly and didnot workout. They feel that Jeethu Joseph stretched the narration and the so called thrill factor to a point of no return. The slow pace in the first half tests the patience of the viewers. Balaji. He tried to entertain viewers by adding spiritual elements to a routine action entertainer with a message. For most of the first half, he spent time introducing various characters, establishing their problems and the proceedings in the court and elevate their emotions before introducing Suriya in an interesting and exciting manner. The slow pace tend to put off viewers as the scenes are predictable till the entry of Suriya.The narration picks up pace with the entry of Suriya and the spiritual elements generated curiosity. The conflict attracts all and though the interval block is routine, the first half ends on a decent note. When one expects a better second half, the narration turns cliched and screenplay goes for a toss. The comedy scenes looked outdated and dragged the narration to the next level.The pre climax is good but inspired by films like Kantara and Pushpa but lacked the strong emotions associated with them. RJ.Balaji followed the similar template in Veerabhadrudu which he did in Nayanthara's Mookuthi Amman except for few variations.The songs tuned by Sai Abhyankar had Tamil flavor. It is difficult to connect cords. His background score at times is good but at other times it turned out to be extremely loud. Kalaivanan's editing is ok but could have been far better. There are many scenes with tamil flavor and also repetitive scenes put off viewers. The cinematography of GK.Vishnnu is good. When he entered the industry his story telling turned out to be unique but he started using the same and followed the same using technological advances offering nothing new ending up testing the patience of the viewers.The narration lacks continuity and screenplay turned out to be bizzare and viewers are left wondering what he was upto. Though Dhruva Sarja worked hard, his character turned out to be loud. Reeshama Nanaiah is ok and Sanjay Dutt's character looked extremely awkward. As the narration progresses, the viewers interest wane and when the film ends, they heave a sigh of relief.The cinematography of William David added value to the narration turning it rich. However Arjun Janya's music failed with misplaced songs and also the background score turned out to be very jarry and loud. VFX turned out to be below average and the editing Sanketh Achar failed completely. What surprised all is they completely deleted the controversial song of Norah Fatehi. One gets a feeling that he is out only to murder movie lovers with his so called creative scenes.Uppu Maruthi failed completely as an editor. Though he couldn't be faulted as the story is senseless, he still left many ridiculous scenes. Anandmarukurthi's cinematography is below average. The music of Manizenna left a lot to be desired and so too is the background music. Dialogues are in bad taste and most of them are loaded with double meaning. The predictable flashback and the episodes in the second half makes viewers run for cover. There is no respite to the viewers as Raj Thalluri comes with scenes that defies logic and gives immese torture. The story is extremely weak and screenplay and direction is atrocious. Considering all these points, Cinejosh goes with a 1 rating for Harudu.
