AR Rahman Opens About Teaming Up With Hans Zimmer for Epic Ramayana Movie

The film Ramayana by director Nitesh Tiwari is getting huge attention. Ranbir Kapoor plays the main role in this two part movie. The project is one of the biggest films from Indian cinema. The budget is said to be close to 4000 crore rupees. AR Rahman is working on the music with famous German composer Hans Zimmer. In a recent talk, Rahman called this team up epic. He also said Ramayana is his biggest project so far.

Ramayana is produced by Namit Malhotra and Yash under Prime Focus Studios and Monster Mind Creations. The movie has a big star cast. Ranbir Kapoor plays Rama, Sai Pallavi plays Sita, and Yash plays Ravana. The film also stars Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. The epic film will release in two parts. Part 1 will hit theatres on Diwali 2026. Part 2 is planned for Diwali 2027.
