Ram Charan Says Sorry To Jasprit Bumrah For Football Mix Up At Peddi Event

Ram Charan has said sorry to Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah for a small mistake. At the Peddi song launch event in Bhopal, Ram Charan called Bumrah a footballer by mistake. This happened during a rapid fire game on stage. The host asked Ram Charan about many sports stars. When Bumrah’s name came, Charan said, “I am your biggest fan. I love football, and you are taking football so ahead.” Fans quickly knew it was a mix up. Later at night, Ram Charan posted on X and said sorry. He called it a human error due to crowd and excitement.

Ram Charan said he respects Bumrah a lot and is a big fan of his bowling. He wrote that Bumrah makes every Indian proud when he puts batsmen on the back foot. At the same event, Ram Charan also spoke about other players. He called Sachin Tendulkar legendary. He said MS Dhoni is calm and cool. For Rohit Sharma, he said everybody owns him. For Virat Kohli, he said the fire and showed a fist. The event was held to launch the song Hellallallo from Peddi. AR Rahman and team gave a live show.

The trailer of Peddi showed Ram Charan as a sports man who plays cricket, wrestling, and running. The film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. It also stars Divyenndu, Shivarajkumar, and Jagapathi Babu. AR Rahman is giving music for the film. Sukumar Writings is producing the movie. Peddi will release in theatres on June 4 with special shows on June 3.
